Registering IP Phones and ATA Devices on the LAN and WAN Side

Q. How do I register the IP phones and ATA devices on the WAN side?



There are two ways on how to setup and configure IP phones and ATA devices</p>
  1. Configuring SPA9000 on the LAN Side: LAN Proxy Network Interface
  2. Configuring SPA9000 on the WAN Side: WAN Proxy Network Interface 

Configuring SPA9000 on the LAN Side: LAN Proxy Network Interface

This is how the SPA9000 is being setup on the network when you have set the Proxy Network Interface to LAN. To configure this setting on the SPA9000 follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Access the SPA-9000 web-based setup page. For instructions, click <a href="../../../../en/US/products/ps10030/products_qanda_item09186a0080a35ea9.shtml">here</a>.

Step 2:
Go to the SIP tab and on the PBX parameters find Proxy Network Interface and set it to LAN.

This is how the SPA9000 is being setup on the network when you have set the Proxy Network Interface to WAN. To configure this setting on the SPA9000, follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Step 2:
