Note : The official Digium TDM400P has been discontinued by digium. It has been replaced with the Digium TDM410P. The 410P offers the option of an echo cancellation module.

Configuration for Australia
The TDM400P requires the following changes to drivers to configure for Australian settings.
- In Zaptel.conf add sendcalleridafter=2 for the callerid to work
- In modprobe.conf set options wctdm opermode=AUSTRALIA. This sets all card settings for Australia.
- In Zapata.conf set :
- The famous Asterisk disconnect. Hello....Hello ?
- By default Asterisk will listen for the "Beep Beep" tone for a hangup. Once it hears it six times it drops the call. Sometimes this leads to no hangup or false hangups because peoples voice is a similar tone. You can check with your provider if they can enable ROIC (reverse on idle condition) on the line. This will tell Asterisk to hangup the line with a voltage reversal. News is Telstra have stopped offering this service, so you may need to tune the hangup detection. If you can get ROIC, in zapata.conf set
- busydetect=no
- hanguponpolarityswitch=yes
If you cannot get ROIC, you will need to set busydetect=yes.
You can see if your card is in Australian mode by typing dmesg at the command prompt, if it reports FCC mode it is not set correctly.

OpenVox is the Generic version, not made by Digium but still A-Ticked. Check for Australian certifications before purchase.
