What is an FXO Port?
FXO Ports are used to connect to analog telephone lines. These are known as POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) lines.
- FXO is an acronym for Foreign eXchange Office.
- FXO ports generally will receive a dial tone, for example from a telstra line.
The FXO port is different to an FXS port.
FXS Modules for Digium Cards
Digium card FXO modules are usually red.
- X100M - Is a single port FXO module.
- X400M - Is a 4 port FXO module.
