Q. How do I access the PAP2's web-based setup page?

The Linksys Phone Adapter (PAP2) has a built-in web-based setup page that allows the user to configure up to two phone lines. To set up the VoIP settings, you need to obtain your VoIP account settings from your VoIP provider like the USER ID (phone number), password and proxy address so you can enter these credentials on the web-based setup page of the PAP2. </p>

Accessing the PAP2's Web-Based Setup Page

Step 1:
Determine the IP address of your PAP2 by pressing four asterisk (*) keys on the analog phone attached to the PAP2 and press option 110 then press the pound (#) key.

Step 2:
Open a web browser such as Internet Explorer.

Step 3:
Go to the Address bar and enter the PAP2's IP Address (by default the IP address of the PAP2 is set to Obtain an IP automatically) then press [Enter].

In this example, we used 192.168.1.150 as the IP address of the PAP2.

Step 4:
The User login is user and the Admin login is admin. There are no passwords by default.

Step 5:
If you can't open the web interface, please contact your PAP2 provider depending where you purchased your PAP2, the person/company that configures the unit might have put a password on it.  Whether you've bought it used or purchased it from a service provider, they are the one that have the password to the unit.
